This Saturday, May 3rd, is our skills assessment for the upcoming season! The coaches will be on deck to welcome athletes back to the team and see where they will be placed for the new season. Athletes who demonstrated mastery of all four strokes by swimming the 100 IM last swim season need not attend as they are already placed into their groups. We look forward to seeing everyone else and how much they have grown!

Trying to keep the lines shorter this year, we also have the swim assessments broken down into two groups, with athletes with a last name A-M going first from 10-11 am. Athletes with a last name N-Z will come in second from 11am to noon. If your athlete is busy that morning, we also have an open timeslot from noon to 1 pm for any athletes who miss the morning assessments.

Finally, we know it is a long weekend for kids out of school for the Battle of Flowers Parade. If your athlete needs to complete the skills assessment but is out of town, they will need to be at the pool early on the first day of practice, May 5th, at 4:15 pm. We will look into additional late tryouts dates as needed.
